Open ended or short term psychotherapy for individuals on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

In your sessions we will work together to better understand you and the issues that you are bringing to therapy. In our conversations you are invited to share your thoughts, feelings and experience; to talk things through. Through creative work you are invited to find alternative ways of expressing yourself - this might be finding or creating images, inventing or reimagining story, or moving your body. You are invited to be curious about yourself - about how you work- and to use the therapy space as you need. This might mean that, for some sessions, we just talk. While other times we may reach for art materials to find another way through. Creative work can offer an opportunity to surprise yourself, to see yourself reflected back through the work.

Individual therapy is space to reflect, express, and connect with yourself. Not only a space to recover, but also a space to grow… to thrive.

  • This form of therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of issues, including:

    • Depression and anxiety

    • Relationship difficulties

    • Trauma and abuse

    • Grief and loss

    • Identity and self-esteem issues

    Therapy can support you to grow greater self-awareness and a deep understanding of yourself, your patterns, and your behaviours. It can lead to improvements in your relationships, in your ability to cope with stress and difficulty, and in emotional regulation. It can help you to notice and change patterns in your life. It can offer you a space to listen to yourself.

  • Start by booking a free consultation. This will take place via video call. It will give you the opportunity to meet me and hear options for how and when we can get started. If you want to continue we will book a first appointment. During this appointment we we will talk about how you want to use the therapy space, I’ll ask questions to hear more about what’s bringing you to therapy, and we will make a plan for how we will continue.

  • Not necessarily. Life is busy, the weeks go fast, and therapy is a financial investment. Therefore I can be flexible when it comes to scheduling. This is something to be discussed in early appointments, but I will usually encourage weekly sessions for at least the first four appointments.

  • I offer open ended and short term therapy. We can discuss this in the first appointment.  If you are not sure, we can plan for a fixed number of appointments before reviewing.

  • My fee is £80 per session and I have a 48hr cancellation policy.  I can offer a concessionary rate. Please ask if this is something that would be of benefit to you.
